PSYCHEDELIC hero Arthur Lee has announced a new UK tour, including two dates in the south.
The cult 60s musician will be as part of a five-piece band, Love with Arthur Lee, through-out February and March.
The original Love, fronted by Lee, broke up in the 60s but remain famous for their album Forever Changes, considered one of the finest records ever made.
Lee has continued to perform using the Love name and has recently stepped back into the spotlight with high-profile TV and festival appearances. The new tour will feature newly-written material and songs from Lee's back catalogue which have never been performed live before.
You can see Love with Arthur Lee at the Wedgewood Rooms, Portsmouth on March 2 (box office: 023 9286 3911) and The Brook, Southampton, on March 24 (box office: 023 8055 5366).
