BISON defenceman James Hutchinson was celebrating on Friday night as Great Britain under-20s won their division two group of the world championships in Lithuania.
Great Britain clinched first place with a game to spare after beating South Korea 2-0 to maintain a 100 per cent record in four games.
Last night, they faced Croatia in their final match, already knowing top spot and pro-motion was safe.
In the opening game, last Monday, Great Britain saw off the host nation 7-3 with Hutchinson, playing alongside Belfast Giants' Leigh Jamieson, picking up four assists.
Adam Carr, who made an appearance for the Bison on a two-way contract from Milton Keynes, scored the opening goal.
A day later, GB saw off South Africa 14-0, with Hutchinson scoring the second goal of the contest while Carr helped himself to a hat-trick.
On Thursday, Serbia were beaten 7-1, a game which Hutchinson missed due to injury.
On Friday, two teams with a 100 per cent record - Great Britain and South Korea - clashed and GB won 2-0 in their closest game so far. Hutchinson was quickly in action, taking the first penalty of the game after 81 seconds.
Promotion to division one means Great Britain are now only one league away from the world big guns of Canada, USA, Finland and the Czech Republic.
