THE Tidworth Community Area Partnership has produced its first community plan.
It covers the parishes of Chute, Chute Forest, Collinbourne Ducis, Collingbourne Kingston, Everleigh, Ludgershall, Tidcombe and Fosbury and Tidworth including Perham Down.
The plan has been produced from ideas put forward by the community at various consultation events, meetings and responses by questionnaire to the draft plan distributed to all households, businesses and organisations in the community area in July 2003.
The outline sets out the hopes and aspirations for the community and lays down the foundations and directions for the years ahead.
From this a detailed action plan will be developed, which will set out the way the local authorities and supporting organisations intend to achieve the specific aims and targets.
The outline plan will be updated and re-issued every four years so that all members of the community will be able to compare and see the progress being made.
The plan is available from the Cross Keys pub in Chute, the post office and garage in the Collingbournes, the farm shop in Everleigh, the library, post office, Barker Son & Isherwood Solicitors in Ludgershall and the post office, leisure centre, library, hive and Tidworth Development Trust in Tidworth.
It can also be viewed at www.kennet.gov.uk, www.tidworth.info and will soon be available on www.wiltshire.gov.uk, www.drumbeat.org.uk and www.everleigh.org.
