A TOP musical director who has worked with showbiz greats, including the late Bob Monkhouse, will be headlining an international jazz night at Eastleigh's Concorde Club.
Laurie Holloway, who will be with his trio at the Stoneham Lane Club on Wednesday, February 4, is also famous for his work as musical director on the Michael Parkinson chat show.
During his career he has worked with singers such as Judy Garland, Liza Minelli, Dame Cleo Laine, Engelbert Humperdinck, Gilbert O'Sullivan and Mel Torme. More recently he has worked with Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Lesley Garrett and Elaine Page.
Laurie had a long association with the late Stephane Grappelli, involving 39 broadcasts.
He has been musical director for many household names, including Ronnie Corbett, Rolf Harris, Dame Edna Everage and Lily Savage.
Recently Laurie was the subject of This is Your Life.
