AN EXCITING new drama school offering children the chance to learn skills for acting on film and TV and even appear in a short film is coming to Southampton soon.
The Youngstar Drama School will be running weekly classes for children and young people aged between six and 20 to hone their acting skills, have fun and become more confident.
Youngsters will also be given the opportunity to work on film projects at the school.
The school opening follows the success of a week held by Youngstars in the summer holidays where youths took part in a film about bullying called Dangerous Playgrounds, which was screened at Southampton's The Harbour Lights cinema.
Organiser and actress Louisa Hart, said: "We want to repeat this success in a weekly drama class and are looking for young people who want to be actors or who simply want to be more confident and like a good laugh."
