APPEAL: Do you or did you know a Cathy McCallum, who attended St Nicholas School, Fleet, about 40 years ago?
With her family, she used to live at Hatch Lane, Old Basing. It is thought that her name is now Cathy Brown, and has perhaps left the area.
If you knew her, or you know where she lives now, could you give me a call on 478072. I can pass any information on to a person who is trying to rekindle an old friendship.
CAR number plates are the target of thieves. During the past week or so a number have been stolen in the village area.
It might be that they are connected to two caravans which have been stolen in the parish. If you see or hear anything suspicious, call the police, as there is a strong possibility that your number plate could be on a caravan which has been stolen and is heading for re-sale up north.
Past incidents have shown that once the stolen caravan is sold, the villains then steal one up north to sell down south.
