TESTWAY Housing is hosting a special seminar early next month targeting nuisance and anti-social behaviour.
Residents are being invited to the meeting to find out what it's like tackling the issues on the front line.
Testway Housing manager Ivor Evans hopes a plan will emerge to help deal with specific problems.
He said: "I think it's possible there is not enough understanding of these issues. People hear things on the news about how the office of the deputy Prime Minister is tackling anti-social behaviour.
"But this is never localised, so people don't get a feel for what we can do together in this area."
Often, he said, the national initiatives were targeted at inner city areas and did not apply to places like Andover where people were unlikely to benefit. The meeting at Testway House in Greenwich Way on 3 December at 7pm will look at a number of issues including legislation covering neighbourhood nuisance and anti-social behaviour.
But it will also cover issues such as taking positive action, partnership working, prevention, alternative remedies and action plans.
