SOUTHAMPTON R&B star Craig David heads the British contingent in this year's MTV Europe Music Awards taking place in Frankfurt tonight.
The 20-year-old has been nominated for four gongs at the bash, which is one of the glitziest ceremonies in the showbiz calendar.
The awards, being presented by Ali G, will be beamed to millions of music fans around the world.
A host of big name guests will be performingon the night, including Scottish stars Travis and US rock legends REM.
Aussie pop queen Kylie Minogue, who is topping the charts all over the world at the moment, will also take to the stage during the ceremony.
In the best male category, Craig David will be battling it out with fellow Brit Robbie Williams, controversial rapper Eminem, Shaggy and Ricky Martin.
London lass Dido has been nominated in the best female category alongside Madonna, J-Lo, Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson.
