Andover suffered another 90 minutes of frustration at the Portway on Tuesday night as Portland United came away with a point.
The Lions had the better chances throughout the match, but were caught by a sucker punch when Dave Whalley headed home for the visitors. Justin Bennett got his 38th goal of the season to equalise, but Andover failed to trouble the scorers after that.
