Whitchurch 1 Moneyfields 2
Two strong penalty claims were turned down against Moneyfields on Saturday as United continued to fight relegation.
The Safeline-sponsored side started at a frantic pace, as Chris Iddles fired over in the fifth minute, while Pascal Suntah skipped past the defence and should have done better on 10 minutes.
Steve Caswell fired over and Dave Smalley made a couple of good saves before United went ahead in the 33rd minute. A Rickey Attridge shot was only parried, and Caswell was there to thump the rebound home.
Smalley was on hand to make two more good saves before Mould turned in a Savage cross for the equaliser, and United were left fuming with an action replay of the first goal on the stroke of half-time.
United's hopes were given a boost when Moneyfields' Lacey was sent off in the 51st minute, but after that the decisions went against them.
One penalty appeal for handball was turned down, then James Scrivens was brought down from behind in the box but the referee waved play on.
United went all-out in search of goals in the last 10 minutes, and Smalley was once again called on to keep United in the game with two smart saves as Whitchurch were caught on the break.
With virtually the last throw of the dice, Scrivens got to the byline and pulled the ball back to Caswell, but his first-time effort hit the bar with the goal at his mercy, and United were once again left with nothing.
