Andover will take on Andover New Street in the final of the North Hants Senior Cup next month, after New Street beat Stockbridge 2-0 at Foxcotte Park on Tuesday night.
Paul Gilbert will claim the first goal for Street, while Jay Mann wrapped up the victory with another strike to add to his growing tally for the season.
Manager Gary Prince told the Advertiser: "We're looking forward to our first cup final of the season, and it'll be a big game against Andover.
"We've never really been rivals as we've not played at the same level of football, but it'll create a lot of interest in the town to have the two teams up against each other." Stockbridge get their chance for revenge next Thursday in the league fixture at Foxcotte Park.
New Street suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of high-flying Vosper Thornycroft on Saturday. Prince told the Advertiser: "They're the best side we've played this year, and the fact that there were gale-force winds and a waterlogged pitch didn't help.
"They were a really tough team to play, and we tried to get the equaliser, but it just wouldn't come."
