Eastleigh held the Inter Schools Angling Competition Teams of Four on Stoneham Lakes and despite Stoneham not fishing its best the young anglers showed how it was done.

The top three senior schools were Crestwood Community School, team weight of 3lb 7oz, consisting of Paul Cross, Dean Richmond, Mat Fernandez, Darel Nunn and reserve Mark Collis. Second were Toynbee Secondary School with a team weight of 3lb 4oz, and third were Alderman Quilley with a team weight of 1lb 15oz. The top three junior schools were first Mansbridge Primary School with a team weight of 6lb 13oz, consisting of Adam Wells, Ben Spooner, Ashley Downland, Sam Shalloe and reserve Aaron Gregory. Second were Fryern Junior School with 6lb 6oz and third Nightingale Primary School with 5lb 7oz.

Individually for the seniors on the day Clair O'Rourke, fishing for Toynbee Secondary, took a 3lb 4oz bag. Individually for the juniors on the day Sam Shalloe from Mansbridge Primary took a 6lb 3oz bag. Sam also took a trophy for a specimen crucian carp weighing 1lb 14oz.

The reserves who fished Stoneham Top lake saw Individual Senior reserve on the day, Sam Dalton from Alderman Quilley take 3lb 2oz. Individual junior reserve was Perry Grant from Nightingale Primary with 12lb 12oz which included a cracking bream of 5lb 10oz.
