ONE of Oscar Wilde's most beautiful children's stories is brought to life in a stage show at Havant Arts Centre this month.
The Remarkable Rocket and the Temple of Gloom, based on Wilde's tale The Remarkable Rocket, tells the story of the Rocket and his friends Roman Candle, Catherine Wheel and Little Cracker, who are preparing for the big royal firework display.
But diaster strikes when the princess is kidnapped by the evil Damp Squib, so the heroic fireworks set out on a quest to save her.
The show, produced by the Rags and Feathers Theatre Company, features live music. You can see it on Saturday, November 15 at 2.30pm. Tickets cost £5.
