Easter may still be six months away, but these three promising young Hampshire cricketers are already crossing off the days before they jet off to the Caribbean with the West of England Under-15 touring party.
St Cross Symondians all-rounder Jack Jenkins (left) and Havant spin duo Stuart Ransley (centre) and Chris Morgan have been selected for a three-week trip to the West Indies next April.
Off-break bowler Ransley and left-arm spinner Morgan were recently named in Hampshire's new Academy in-take.
The three young cricketers each have to find £1,600 to finance their part of the trip, which includes matches in Barbados, Guyana and Trinidad.
The Southern Electric Premier League, in which Morgan and Ransley play regularly for Havant 2nd XI, are part sponsoring the trio of youngsters.
