A SHOP that raises money for people suffering from multiple sclerosis officially opened its doors in a spectacular fanfare of colour.
Volunteers from Team Spirit marched along Shirley High Street in wacky costumes entertaining shoppers before joining up with the Titchfield Carnival.
The shop, which sells donated goods, has been operating from Church Street in Shirley for a year but its owners wanted a big launch after applying for charity status.
Manager Pat Read, who dressed as a Victorian lady, said: "It was great fun. We all dressed up and really enjoyed ourselves and I think from the crowds reaction they liked it as well."
