HAMPSHIRE-based Vear Building Services has completed a £500,000 contract on one of HSBC's flagship branches in London.
Vear, which operates out of Chandler's Ford near Southampton, has provided air-conditioning, ventilation and electrical installation
systems in the five-storey building on Pall Mall.
The project was carried out in conjunction with main contractors Hannafords under the direction of architects Jefferson Sheard and services consultants Thornley Lumb.
Up to 20 Vear personnel were on site during the 16-week contract, which completed on programme and within budget.
Other major projects in and around the City of London completed by the Vear Group include a £750,000 refurbishment of 55 dressing rooms at the National Theatre on the South bank and the £1.5 million modernising of HSBC Bank branches at High Holborn, Holborn Circus and Cambridge Circus.
The Vear Group is one of a few approved security contractors due to their long-term installation work for financial institutions including Barclays, HSBC and Lloyds.
In the last 12 months, the company has installed over 400 ATM points across the UK. Last year Vear's turnover increased by 15 per cent to just over £8 million and the group now employs a total of 100 personnel.
