ENVIRONMENT: I understand that Wilson Homes is pressing for the Settlement Policy Boundary to be breached on the north side of the village by permitting houses to be built between the present housing boundary and the bypass.
This is, of course, excluded by the Village Design Statement, which considers that a gap should be left between the bypass and the village, not least because of growing traffic volumes on the A339.
Will the group which campaigned successfully against the move of the SPB in the Fox's Lane area be taking up the cudgels on this one?
BROADBAND: The project to provide Kingsclere with broadband using a wireless system is now under way following the offer of a grant towards infrastructure costs by SEEDA.
