NEW play equipment is to be installed at Beach Park.
The two new items promised are a rolling log and stepping stones, and they will be set up in the bark pit.
THE Acorn Trust Day Centre is looking for some muscle! At the moment, the day centre, which meets at St Leonard's Centre on Wednesdays, relies on just two volunteers to set out and put away the chairs and tables.
Is there anyone who can lend a hand at 9am or 3pm, twice a month? Please contact 781023 or 781541 if you would like to help.
OAKLEY and Deane WI will hold a jumble sale on Saturday, November 1, at East Oakley Village Hall. The sale starts at 2pm and will include a raffle and a tombola.
Jumble can be left at the hall after 10am on the morning of the sale. If collection is needed, please call 781541 or 780535.
