ANDOVER has joined a national campaign to encourage more people to draw.
The Big Draw saw more than 190 people pass through Andover Museum on Saturday and many took part in drawing workshops with professional artist Jonathan Allen.
Dave Allen from Andover Museum said: "It was very successful.
"A lot of people came to the event and got involved in drawing and learning from the artist's experience."
The Big Draw is an annual event initiated by The Guild of St George, a small charity founded by John Ruskin, the great Victorian artist.
Ruskin saw drawing as the foundation of visual thought. His mission was not to teach people how to draw, but how to see.
