VOLUNTEERS will be taking part in a day of vegetation clearance in Shipton Bellinger on National Green Lane Day on Sunday.
The project has been organised by Hampshire County Council's Hampshire Paths Partnership Scheme and volunteers from the four-wheel drive group, Hants and Berks Rover Owners.
It takes place after Make a Difference Day on Saturday, a national day of volunteering, when people are encouraged to get involved in projects to improve their community.
The volunteers will be clearing a track which runs north from Shipton Bellinger to the Hampshire/Wiltshire border so it can be enjoyed by all users.
Hants and Berks Rover Owners promote and practise responsible use of four-wheel drive vehicles in the countryside, and have carried out a number of clearance projects within the county through guidance from Hampshire Paths Partnership.
