TRIATHLETE Toby Hood is set to have his dreams come true of a chance at the world championships in New Zealand this December.
Toby, from Alderholt near Fordingbridge, has won a £500 grant from the nearby Sandy Balls Holiday Centre in Godshill, which will help fund his trip to the other side of the world.
The business studies graduate will be one of only 12 UK competitors in the 21-25 year age category, swimming 1,500m, cycling 40km and running 10km against the cream of the international Triathlon crop.
Andrew Howe, managing director of Sandy Balls, said: "I am delighted that we have been able to put Toby well on the way to raising his sponsorship goal of £2,000."
