AWARD-WINNING newspaper and leaflet distributor NDS has rebranded to Newsquest Southern ahead of predicted growth in its database analysis and market research operations.
Poole-based NDS has adopted the name of its parent group, Daily Echo publisher Newsquest, to capitalise on the strength of its business brand.
Newsquest Southern Distribution & Leaflet Services currently employs 39 full- and part-time office staff plus 250 distribution area organisers and about 5,500 newspaper/leaflet distributors.
The high street company is best known for delivering more than 55 million newspapers and 220 million leaflets every year across the south and south-west of England and South Wales.
It is increasingly being asked by firms to carry out database creation/analysis and also market research.
The rebranding highlighted the greater range of services now on offer to potential clients, said Newsquest Southern Distribution & Leaflet Services general manager Stephen Wheeler.
"We have done mystery shopper research for Aldi and also database profiling of all the people who visited 25 Barratt showhomes across the south," he said.
Services carried out by Newsquest Southern Distribution & Leaflet Services include:
leaflet distribution with free newspapers
solus distribution (separate from the newspapers)
precise demographic targeting
market research
leaflet design, analysis and profiling
direct mail.
Newsquest Southern Distribution & Leaflet Services celebrated its rebranding with a greyhound racing night for 86 guests at Poole Stadium.
