AFTER months of planning, Basingstoke's NeighbourCare website has been launched to attract more service users and volunteers to the neighbourhood-friendly charity.
Neighbourcare.com was launched last Monday by manager Kay Elliot, chairman Andrew Parry, web designer John Hammond and the Deputy Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane, Cllr Gwen Richardson.
Mrs Elliot said: "The opening went really well and about 50 people attended, including lots of volunteers.
"The website means that more people will get to know what we do and it will reach a lot more people, because the older generation, in particular, are using the web even more.
"It's taken a long time but we wanted it to be right.
"So far it has got excellent feedback from residents who say it has everything they need to know."
