CHILDREN at Millbrook's Holy Family Pre-school in Southampton explore a wardrobe of fun costumes donated by the Outer Shirley Regeneration Programme.
A grant of more than £1,400 has been used to update the pre-school's 'knowledge and understanding area', in order to help children develop intellectually. The regeneration cash has also paid for a range of new activities including water activity toys, multi-cultural dolls, construction toys and computer games.
The new toys will be used by the 67 children at the pre-school, who are aged between two years nine months and four years-old. Sharon Kesby, head of the pre-school said: "These new toys are a very welcome addition to the pre-school. They will really help in the children's development as well as being good fun to play with."
