MESSY Play: A new group is now in full swing at the pavilion on Clift Meadow on Mondays, from 10am to 11am and 1.30pm to 2.30pm.
The children paint, glue and stick, so there is no need for mums to have all the messy play at home.

HARVEST Festival: Harvest was celebrated in grateful style at St James' as floral decorations with fruit, vegetables, hops and berries decorated the church thanks to the team efforts of 12 members.
Following evensong, more than 50 people went to Cross House for a delicious harvest supper. The happy evening ended with a grand raffle.
The proceeds from sales of the harvest offerings were divided between the church and May Place Hostel for the homeless in Basingstoke.
