DUMMER Harvest Festival: A family service incorporated our Harvest Festival.
The choir (now known as The Maidenthorne Singers) sung Linden Lea, and there were prayers and readings from younger members of the congregation.
Children, depicting grandparents and parents, aided Father Clive in his excellent talk.
As usual, All Saints Church was packed. If anyone would like to come to these friendly, relaxed Ecumenical Services, they are held on the first Sunday of each month and commence at 11.15am.
THE Maidenthorne Singers would like to congratulate their director, Rebecca Berkley.
Also, congratulations to two members of the group. Valerie Hedderly and Michael Kenning announced their engagement recently, and the Maidenthorne Singers are delighted to have been asked to sing at their wedding.
BOOGIE Nights: That's the name of the people who are coming to run our next event in Dummer Village Hall, the '70s disco on Saturday, November 15.
Tickets will be on sale shortly and there will be a licensed bar. It will be another great fun evening, so come along.
