NEW pavilion for Newfound: Work has started, as planned, on the sports pavilion. The first sod was cut by parish council chairman Ros Blackman, and the building is scheduled to be finished next spring.
FOREIGN coins, used postage stamps and even old mobile phones can still be of use.
Mrs Jana Warne (local honorary secretary of the Children's Society) would gladly take any of these items as they can be used to raise funds.
Please call 780954 or take your coins, stamps or phones to 80 Hill Road.
WOODLANDS group work party: The next one will be in St John's Copse on Sunday, October 26, from 10am to 1pm. Tools and refreshments are provided.
