TRINKET or Treasure: More than 50 guests brought goods to be valued by Mr Mark Law, of Law Fine Art, last Friday.
Some of the owners must have had very pleasant news of values, many of the items had interesting provenance with them.
Mr Law also brought a "guessing table" and we all learned a great deal about ceramics, their dates, origins and value.
SERVICE of memory, at 3pm, on October 26 in the church, is to remember those we have lost.
BONFIRE night event is Saturday, November 1. Get your tickets in advance from The Calleva, Pamber Heath Stores, or Tony on 0118 9700282. This will save you money and a long queue.

REMEMBRANCE Sunday is November 9, when there will be the usual service in the parish church, followed by a short gathering with our young trumpeter, at the War Memorial at 11.30am.
