MUSICAL fashions may change but if there's one song that's guaranteed to get everyone on the dance floor, stamping and clapping in unison, it's Dexys Midnight Runners' Come on Eileen.
The band's signature tune was the top-selling UK single of 1982, enjoying a staggering 93 weeks in the charts.
They also had another number one in 1980 with Geno and clocked up an additional nine hits before they split in 1987.
The group, fronted by Kevin Rowland, were famous for their denim dungarees look but they have upgraded to 40s-style flannels now that they're older, wiser and back together.
The band's current line-up includes old and new members but fans can look forward to hearing all their favourite Dexy's hits as well as new songs and classic album tracks.
Tuesday, 21st October. Performance: 7.30pm. Tickets: £20. Box office: 023 9282 4355. The band are also at The Anvil, Basingstoke on Sunday, 26th October.
