FOUR Basingstoke Bison players made a visit to Maple Ridge School as part of the extended Bison Schools Programme.
The quartet of players from the Wella-backed side were Steve Moria, Blake Sorensen, Curtis Cruickshank and Matt Reid.
During the afternoon visit, the players joined in with a PE session with various groups of pupils.
This included showing the children basic hockey skills.
Following on from this, the players went to different classrooms talking with the children, answering many questions about themselves and ice hockey.
This proved to be a very enjoyable experience for both the pupils and the players.
Any other school looking to get involved in the programme can contact Jane Rogerson at the Planet Ice Silver Dome Arena on (01256) 355266.
