THE Mayor of Test Valley Pat West and Troggs frontman Reg Presley will be the guests of honour at the Andover Christmas lights switch-on in the High Street at 7.30pm on 21 November.
Organisers, who still need to raise £7,000, are asking local businesses to show their support. Donations can be passed to Pam Whitehouse at Solitaire Jewellers, High Street or Sue Bennett at Dawkins Pet Supplies in Union Street.
A 'Roll of Honour' for contributors will be published in the Andover Advertiser.
Chantry Centre tenants are sponsoring the reindeer in Santa's Parade, which will include Cairngorm reindeer, Carnival Prince and Princess, a brass band and street entertainment.The evening includes school choirs and an adult choir accompanied by Test Valley Brass Youth Band, Santa's Show and an Andover FM open air disco.
