STORYTELLING at its best, using music, song, a beautiful set and a very distinctive performance style, comes to the Haymarket Theatre on Saturday.
This fantastic new production brings three travellers tales from around the world to life right before your very eyes.
The Spider and The Honey Tree is a delightful African story about a little girl who goes into the forest to pick fruit.
Raisa and the Baba Yaga is a Slovakian tale that is all about the quest for true love.
There is a hint of the Cinderella story with Raisa and her two horrible sisters!
Then there is the Chinese story of Big Mouth, Skinflint and the Horse. This is a tale of greed that is bound to have you falling over yourself with laughter.
The Gypsy Caravan has pulled up at the side of the road for the night, the horses are eating and there is nothing left to do but tell stories that have been passed on down the generations.
Sit back, join the travelling folk and share some of the traditions and culture of life on the road.
The show combines the rich tapestry of traditional storytelling with animated performance to create a production that is sure to both entertain and enthral. All tickets cost £4.50 and are available from the box office on 01256 465566, or by logging on to www.haymarket.org.uk
The show, which begins at 11am, is suitable for anyone aged six and over.
