FASCINATING Aida - Dillie Keane, Marilyn Cutts and Adele Anderson - are on tour for the last time.
But don't panic, because you can see them at The Anvil in One Last Flutter on Friday.
After wooing audiences with their blend of sweet melodies and savage lyrics for more than 20 years, Britain's raciest, sassiest and most successful theatre cabaret trio are taking their final curtain.
The ladies said: "Little did we imagine, back in 1983, that Fascinating Aida would still be trucking 20 years later. Margaret Thatcher was in power and the world seemed a scary place, but oh what an idyll that seems now!
"Nonetheless, 20 years on the road calls for a celebration of some sort, so we have gathered the troops for a final assault for the single purpose of topping up their pensions."
They promise "a fabulous collection of new songs and old favourites, impeccably delivered in unfashionably posh accents by those three heavily-painted, yet still glamorous, old troupers who are proud to say that they are a Botox-free zone".
The ladies say that, as always, the songs reflect the age they're at and the age we're all in. Since they'll never see 40 again, the new material is delightfully bitter and splendidly savage.
They sing about childlessness, the death of a mother, the end of friendships and missing the boat of love.
But the evening is certainly not bleak - other targets include plastic surgery and modern art.
Tickets for One Last Flutter are priced at £13.50 and £16. Call The Anvil box office on 01256 844244 or log on to The Anvil website www.theanvil.org.uk
