IT WAS a taste of the high life for Andrew Masters as he accepted his prize for being the one-millionth passenger to travel from Southampton International Airport.
Andrew and his girlfriend Kelly were treated to a VIP day out at Goodwood races, arriving in style in a private jet before indulging in a champagne lunch and enjoying the last race meeting of the season.
The couple were welcomed to the airport by duty manager Trevor Compton and Carill Aviation's chief pilot and director Caroline Rabson after being chauffeur-driven from Andrew's home in Winchester.
The 27-year-old picked up the MillionAir prize after being the millionth passenger to present his passport for check-in at the airport.
He said: "I am very excited about the trip and very much looking forward to it."
The competition was to celebrate going through the one million customer mark for the first time in the airport's 93-year-history.
