A PICTURESQUE garden of remembrance created in memory of a Hampshire grandmother has scooped a top award.
The six-acre site in Upper Cornaway Lane, Portchester, was lovingly put together by the family of Eleanor Hare, who died four years ago.
Her daughter Barbara Trimmings together with her husband Tony and their daughter Julie Hind, came up with the idea.
It features miniature lakes, streams, glass features and a children's area.
The memorial garden scooped an award in Fareham in Bloom earlier this summer and has now been given a best commercial garden prize by Southern England in Bloom.
