FOUR Totally Tennis teams have stormed through the National Junior Club League, with two of them reaching the last eight teams in the country left in the tournament.
The under-11 boys' team, who won their Hampshire group, went on to beat Wargrave (Berkshire) before losing 4-1 to Gerrards Cross.
The under-17 girls' teams also pushed through to the second regional stage after beating Guernsey Schools 5-0 but they also lost to Gerrards Cross in a close 3-2 battle.
The under-13 boys managed to beat Gerrards Cross 4-1 in the second regional round and are now in the last eight in the country. Their next opponents are Esporta, Chiswick, who have recently announced a sponsorship deal with Tim Henman.
The under-11 girls beat Oxford Sports 3-2 and will now play East Devon Tennis Club. The winners from this encounter will join the last four clubs in the country at Redbridge.
Totally Tennis head coach, Shane Deacon, said: "We have done extremely well to get this far. The format is crucial, with three singles, followed by a doubles.
"At this stage, the doubles are proving the decider, which makes for very exciting matches."
