Young Southampton racing driver Ricky Cole saved the best 'til last in the British GT Championship.
Second place in the final round at Brands Hatch was Cole's best performance of the season alongside Peter Le Bas in the Chevrolet Corvette.
The bright yellow Corvette has been a real eye-catcher all through the season, but never like this as Cole and Le Bas came through when championship contenders Jamie Darbyshire and Shaun Balfe and then Shane Lynch and Piers Johnson crashed out.
Tom Herridge and Martin Short were left to take victory and the title in their Mosler MT990R but Cole's storming drive through to second place earned him the 76 Racing Fuels GT driver of the day award.
Steve Hyde from Southampton finished in fifth place in the TVRT400R.
Salisbury's Richard Stanton was another fifth-place finisher in the TVR Tuscan Challenge Feature event.
