MANOR Field Junior School is looking much better now, after the fire.
Sarah Embleton, from Year 6, sent me a report this week, which is much appreciated. On behalf of the school promotion team, she explained that the staff and pupils are happy to say that the building work has finally been completed. The boiler room has been rebuilt, space has been provided for storing PE equipment, and there is a new kiln room. There is also a bin storage area next to the kitchen.
Thanks are due to Mr Cushing, headteacher of Great Binfields School, who helped by firing clay models for children from Manor Field Junior School, until the new kiln was in place.
Mrs Cushing, headteacher of Manor Field Junior School, her staff and the children wish to thank those who helped at a difficult time.
