"There's no justice in football," groaned Downton manager Mitch Blake after watching Andover score twice in stoppage time to snatch all three points away from his side at Wick Lane.
"We've competed so well and worked hard and I didn't think that Andover really looked like scoring today yet they've done us with two goals in the 92nd and 97th minutes and that is so disappointing," bemoaned Blake.
Following their 9-0 drubbing at Lymington & New Milton in midweek, Downton looked like causing a major upset when they took the lead after 20 minutes after Matt Guy teed up his brother Jason to score from 20 yards.
But the Robins started rocking when Danny Barker equalised with a far-post header as the match moved into injury time.
And, with time almost up, Alan Kennedy's shot was only beaten out by the home 'keeper, allowing Sam Rae to pounce for an unlikely 2-1 smash 'n' grab success.
