Wickham Park Golf club again hosted a successful business support seminar to a group of Hampshire businessmen and women.
The seminars are the brainchild of Ian Paddock of AMP Associates, who saw a need to help fellow small to medium enterprise business people access help and support for their businesses.
Presentations included Stephen Fry of Fry Samuels & Associates speaking on clustering; Susan Sharp of Business Link Wessex on Investors in People; and Graham Ellis of Ellis Transport Services/Federation of Small Businesses on the Plato management development programme.
After a short break presentations continued with Ian Paddock of AMP Associates Ltd on computerised information systems technology; Clive Wilby of The Informers on Knowledge is Competitive Advantage; and Paul Wilson and Jan Simmonds on "Now that you've got broadband"- a light-hearted look at Internet security.
Support to the seminar was provided by Wickham Park staff, Business Link Wessex, Southampton and Fareham Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Federation of Small Businesses and Lloyds TSB Business.
