Fareham Town enjoyed a 4-1 home victory against Dorset opponents Poole Town.
Dave Rowe headed Fareham into a 34th-minute lead from Lloyd Mitchell's cross and, although Poole quickly levelled through Purkiss, the home side regained their advantage on 40 minutes through Floyd Hamodu.
Jamie Musselwhite's header made it 3-1 on the hour mark and, when Musselwhite's 75th-minute effort was only parried by the 'keeper, substitute Bobby Hanton snaffled up the rebound.
"Poole are a good team and they competed physically in the first half but there was only one team in it in the second half as maybe our superior fitness told," said Fareham boss Jon Gittens.
