A WHERWELL resident disturbed an intruder on Monday afternoon at around 3pm after she heard a noise while she was sitting in the conservatory.
The resident went to investigate only to be confronted by a man believed to be around 30.
He was wearing a baseball cap and a long brown jacket. Once disturbed, the man ran away from the house in Fullerton Road.
Hampshire Police are appealing for witnesses.
Anyone who may have seen anything is asked to call 0845 045 45 45 and ask for Andover police station.
