YOUNGSTERS will be finding out what goes into putting on a play with a special half-term workshop at Southampton's Nuffield theatre.
How Hamlet Happens is a week-long project aimed at 14 to 18-year-olds and gives participants the chance to experience first hand how the Nuffield has brought the Shakespeare classic to life on stage.
At the end of the week, participants will create, design and act in their own short piece of theatre to be performed on the set of Hamlet.
How Hamlet Happens takes place from October 27-31.
Other workshops coming up at the Nuffield include Hidden Hamlet, a weekend workshop for adults on November 1 and 2, a one-day theatre writing workshop on November 23 and Creating a Character on January 18.
