POLICE officers had to grab some crooks this morning when they were called to deal with a flock of sheep bringing traffic chaos to a Hamphire road.
The officers went on the bleat at Allington Lane in West End in a bid to shepherd the 20 sheep to safety.
Traffic was brought to a standstill on the road just after 7am today when the sheep got on to the road.
Worried motorists dialled 999 in an effort to get the sheep moved on. Two police officers were dispatched to steer the sheep off the road to allow the traffic to pass.
