STONEHAM's European Tour hopeful Darren Henley is resigned to spending another season on the EuroPro Tour after missing out at the first stage of Tour School last week.
After the brightest possible start at Chart Hills where Henley shot a first round 69, he followed up with 75 74 73 for a total of 291 which was eight shots off the qualifying mark.
Steve Cowle, the former Hampshire Open champion from Blacknest, was just three off qualifying after rounds of 76 68 75 68, but Chilworth's Ceb Aby missed the three-round cut after scoring 78 69 77.
Hampshire had only one qualifier for the second stage of Tour School in Spain at the end of October. The current Hampshire PGA champion Jon Barnes went through in 12th place at Five Lakes, where rounds of 75 68 67 and 75 saw the Sandford Springs assistant professional comfortably through.
