THE family of Andover road accident victim Andrew Iveson have erected a permanent memorial to him beside the A3057 at Brook where he died in June.
The plaque, which displays a single red flower on a black background and carries the message 'remember me', is one of thousands appearing on roadsides across the country.
The plaques were launched by Roadpeace - the national charity for road traffic victims - to serve as a nationwide public acknowledgement of those killed or injured on Britain's roads and their families.
The charity says they will be a sign of loss, warning and hope.
Mr Iveson, a 36-year-old father from Millway Road, suffered multiple injuries when his Honda Fireblade motorbike was in collision with a red Audi 80 on the Andover to Romsey road.
