JAZZ legend Georgie Fame and his band The Blue Flames come to the Concorde Club, Eastleigh on Wednesday, October 1.
With more than 20 albums and 14 hit singles to his name, including Yeh Yeh, Get Away and Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde, Fame has come a long way since his earliest days as a performer in the local church hall in his native Lancashire. His band began life as the resident act for the Flamingo Club in Soho in 1962.
"Fame is a supremely talented musician and has played with everyone from Count Basie to Van Morrison," said Concorde Club managing director Cole Mathieson.
