The first round of the Southampton FA Senior Cup saw a sensational upset as Hampshire Premier kingpins Locks Heath were beaten by Burridge Sports.

The underdogs, from five divisions lower down the pyramid, took a shock lead through Graeme Cole and held out for a draw after extra time.

They held their nerve in the penalty shoot out, converting all five, after Locks had skied the first over the bar.

Another surprise saw Cadnam United knock out BAT's Wessex Combination side 1-0 with substitute Wayne Green netting.

Nathan Oakley hit seven goals as Hythe & Dibden crushed Capital 9-0.

Alex Hoyle struck three times as M&T Awbridge thrashed Q K Soton Reserves 10-0.

Brendon found themselves 3-0 down against Burridge AFC but rallied to win 5-3.

Alex Waterman hit four in Hythe Aztecs' 7-1 demolition of North Baddesley.

Dominic Worthington scored three as Netley Central progressed against Millbridge 5-1.

Bishop's Waltham v Eastleigh was postponed due to a crack down the pitch caused by faulty drainage, but the surface should be fit for next Saturday.
