SINGER, songwriter and musician Sam Brown is back to amaze the crowds once again as she appears at The Brook on Tuesday, accompanied by the Moses.
With early 60s, chart topper Joe Brown as her father and a mother who was a backing vocalist in the early 70s, Sam was destined to become a musician.
She started working professionally as a singer at the tender age of 12 and produced her own demo when she was a mere 15 years old.
Hitting the big time with her debut single Stop! in 1989, which reached an impressive number four in the UK charts, selling over 2.5 million copies, she was well on her way to bigger and better things.
Turning her back on the big bucks Sam retired to Scotland to make music her way and has since sung with the legendary Sir Elton John, Tina Turner and The Small Faces.
Not only can Sam sing, but she has also written The Kiss of Love with Jools Holland, appeared on Pink Floyd's world tour and produced three successful albums, 43 Minutes, April Moon and Box.
With all her ups and downs, through it all, the constant factor has been the powerful pulse of fired-up music in her bloodstream and now she's back with new single In Light of All That's Gone On Before and current album Reboot.
Sunday. Tickets: £12.50. Box Office: 023 8055 5366.
