BASIngstoke Town's skilful frontman Neville Roach faces a late fitness test ahead of tomorrow's home game against Hornchurch in the Ryman Premier Division.
The ex-Reading striker - a summer target of Eastleigh - sat out the 1-0 midweek win at Bishop's Stortford with a tight hamstring.
It was his replacement, Efan Elad, who bagged Stoke's 76th-minute winner that night as Stoke made amends for an abysmal 3-0 home defeat by Thurrock last Saturday.
Assistant manager Pete Peters admitted: "We were diabolical last weekend but played 100 per cent better on Tuesday.
"We could have made wholesale changes to the team after the Thurrock result, but we declined as that doesn't necessarily cure the problem.
"We sat everyone down before the game on Tuesday and told them we needed a performance and, to be fair, we got one."
Former Reading player James Lambert has been released after failing to impress on a month's trial with Stoke.
